New Betty begins Sept. 27!!

Well, the headline pretty much says it all: new Ugly Betty episodes begin September 27. Sometime before then, I'll finish merging the "mini" and "full" recaps... not that that's such an urgent task - it just bugs me that they're out there.

As for the "musings" type of essay, I'll probably put that on hold till after the new season begins. I wanted to write something comparing the US Betty with the Colombian Betty and/or Mexican Lety, but I think that's already been done to death elsewhere on the Internet. I also wanted to write something about the telenovela elements in the US show, but I'm not sure if that'd be of interest to those who don't watch telenovelas. (For those who do watch telenovelas, the elements are surely obvious.)

Anyway... just thought I'd pass that news on to those who were still wondering when there'd be a new Betty episode. Wil's wedding plans... the jailbreak... Henry's cheating girlfriend... Amanda's parentage... the untimely death (?) of Santos... I am dying to see what they come up with this season!
